I have lived and worked in Paris for 18 years. In that time I've watched the tech scene grow from a few startups into a real industry. Station F opened. OVHcloud and Scaleway built cloud infrastructure in France. Mistral showed that a frontier model can be built in Europe. Alan and Doctolib scaled across the continent, and hundreds of other good French tech companies grew up beside them.
This is no accident. The French have a long tradition of engineering and a habit of perfectionism. They care about getting the details right, and it shows in the work.
Paris was also built on the atelier: small workshops all over the city where people made things carefully and didn't release them to the public until they were ready. Today the Parisian atelier looks different. It is a shared workspace, a flat with a few laptops, or a desk at Station F. The city has changed, but the desire for producing great work hasn't.
HI AI Works is one of those ateliers. We work from the 13th arrondissement, we ship to customers all over the world, and we build on that tradition of engineering and care.
Why now
For years, software was sold as access. You paid a monthly fee for tools you never owned, running on logic you couldn't see. The first wave of AI worked the same way: one big model for everything, sold as a subscription.
AI 2.0 is different. One model that fits every job doesn't exist. What works is specialist models for specialist jobs, available whenever you need them.
That is possible today because of OpenRouter, which gives access to over 450 different models through a single API. You spend as much or as little as you want, and you pay only for what you use.
We build on that. Each agent uses the right model for its job:
The right model for each task.
A small, cheap model for simple steps and a stronger one for hard reasoning.
Pay for what you use.
Cost follows usage, not a monthly plan.
No lock-in.
When a better model appears, the agent can use it.
You can read it.
The reasoning is visible, not a black box.
You decide.
The software prepares the work and a person approves it.
You own it.
With AI Agent Brewery you buy an agent once and keep it. With The Digital Forum and Job Fair AI you pay a monthly plan plus a fee per Parle.
If this reads like your thesis as well as ours, we should talk.
